Misleading

My experience with AHMSI began when they took over my account from Option One. They started by sending me a letter to inform me of my new mortgage holder and that I should began making my payments to them, as Option One no longer would be accepting payments from me. So in good faith I called and asked them if I had a payment due to which they replied that I did and the customer service person I was working with asked me if I wanted to make a payment that day, so I replied that would be fine. He took my information, and I, to my knowledge was making my scheduled payment for the month. Until later that day when the took another payment for that same month from direct withdrawal, which overdrafted my checking account.

So I called them up to ask what they thought they were doing and they replied to me that they had auto withdrawal rights because I had that set up with Option one, so I told them that the agent earlier that day told me that I owed a payment for the month and that was false as they had already taken the payment out. My bank sent the payment I made back as insufficiently funded and charged me a $35.00 fee. I asked AHMSI to quit rerunning the check but they refused because they said I had given them the right to collect two payments for that month when I called in my payment. This all resulted in a big fight over the phone, so I hung up and contacted an attorney.

He advised me to have them take me off of auto withdrawal, so once again I called them back and was told to do this in writing, so I sent in my request,
but I did not hear anything back for several days, once again I called them up and asked if they had gotten my written request to stop auto withdrawal, they told me they had, and I also asked if they had approved my request to which I was told to send in my payment for the next month by mail.

For July I sent them my payment as agreed by mail, and Two days later they took another payment by auto withdrawal from my checking. This time I called the bank and disputed the charge my bank refunded me the money and advised us to place a non payment order on any withdrawals for that amount of money.in responce to this AHMSI started charging me $25.00 extra a month because I blocked their withdrawals, they are still charging me every month because they can't take 2 payments from me, by fraud.
