On December 7, I received a letter saying that I was guarrenteed approval for a credit card. All I needed to do was send a check for 49 dollars. The check cleared my bank on December 19.
I did just that. Unfortuatelly, I never saved the top portion of the letter.
On January, 12, I tried to find a phone number online so I could call and find out what was going on with my credit card.in doing so, I found out that it was a fraud and now I am out 49 dollars.
I need to know what I can do to get my money back. It's not alot, but it is part of my hard earned income.
