I contacted ocwen on 12/17 in regards to their employee Cynthia Anderson refusing to give the amount owed on my back payments and telling me not to contact her, she would not give the information, even being in daily contact with her, and the issue of forced placed insurance. The day after I contacted ocwen Cynthia finally gave me an amount of $3747.88 good till the end of December and she told me the issue of forced place insurance had been taken care of.
I sent the $3747.88 western union on 12/31. I faxed a copy to Cynthia and was glad that this nightmare had ended. On Tuesday January 7th I received a letter stating that Forced Placed Insurance had been placed on my home at a cost of $765.00. On Friday I received a certified letter that my loan is in default.
I contacted owcwen and they tell me I owe for Demcember and January, less than 10 days after paying all past due. I have filed a compliant with the Florida BBB in regard to the insurance issue. I have had constant insurance on my home, ocwen are the ones that paid for the insurance at close of escrow..
I also work for a large bank and realize that mistakes are made, and departments do not communicate. But this has gone far beyond that. Cynthia refused to give any information and even called me on Dec 2 telling me not to conact her any more. I recieved the forclosure documents dated Deceber 2nd a few days late
