I have contacted this organization several times to remove my address from their system. This belongs to an ex-wife that I was married to over a decade ago. I have moved several times since that divorce and have only been at this address for a little over a year. The last time I called before today their staff assured me my address would be invalidated in their system.
Upon receiving yet another letter I called them and asked to speak with a supervisor - twice. Both times they put me on indefinite hold. The third time I finally got to speak with Vicky, who claimed to be an Operations Manager. I explained the situation and instead of assuring me this issue would be resolved, she said I was making a bigger deal over this than I should, and just put Return to Sender on the envelope. If a personal phone call does not rectify the situation, how will that? I should not have to be bothered at all by your organization.
With that statement, Vicky said that she gets other people's mail all the time and what is the big deal? Furthermore, she said that although they invalidated my address this time, she said there is a good chance it will happen again in their attempts to find my ex-wife. This is unacceptable to me. I should not have to deal with their harassment in an attempt to find someone concerning a debt or a debtor that I have nothing to do with. If I am receiving mail relating to a bad debt from an ex-wife I have a vested interest in its outcome.
