On 04/29/08 I had a back surgery (diskectomy). The normal recovery time is 3 to 6 months. Cigna thought I should have been back to work in 2 weeks. I have filed an appeal but still have not been paid. I was only looking for 10 weeks of pay. I have since lost my job because I was away from work for so long. I am at the end of my rope. The operation I had was extremely painful.
I don't know how I supposed to return to work, taking heavy pain killers and unable to sit or stand for any length of time. I am currently looking for another position, but am still in pain.
