Well, I am still fighting Americredit and it has been 2 years now. But, I truly believe now that this company deserves to be shut down. I filed a complaint about them to the Department of Justice, and all other federal consumer complaint agencies. So now, I got a response from the Better Business Bureau and someone (supposedly someone from Americredit responds back). Strike one was that they wrote back a letter that was not on official stationary. I was like they copied and pasted the name from a document they were working on and attached it to my response letter. Strike two was that my account number was right but the information was completely wrong. They had my account listed as a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe, when I really had a 2005 Malibu. I was like, alrighty then. So, that made me think were they charging me something else??? Really pissed me off then. So, I wrote the BBB back to let them know that I was not satisfied with that lame response that a compliance attorney (supposed compliance attorney) wrote me. They are doing the same thing that their lying customer service reps (if they had any) did... Gave me a complete different story.
