Has anyone else received a Fed-Ex from a "senior loan officer" with GMAC mortgage? How did you respond, or did you and what was the outcome? The statement, "There is nothing to be alarmed about..." does make me alarmed. This is followed by, "I am well aware of your mortgage history and I want to help you." Yikes! I had to call them several times last year when I pulled my credit reports and they had listed me delinquent. It took about 15 phone calls to get through their minds that there was no way for me to be delinquent as they are paid from my bank each and every month. They request the monies; my bank pays them. After reading the horrors previously written, I am really concerned. I don't want to call them as I would have no record of the converstation. I think if something is important enough to send me a letter by FedEx, if should be in writing so I can do research before responding.By the way, the "correction" they made with the credit bureaus; they stated I'd been current since March. I've been paying on this house for several years. Great record keeping, huh? PLEASE let me hear from someone how to handle this!
