I sold my house in May of 06 because of an employee theft of over 40K at my family owned business. I was late a few times with the mortgage but I made them aware of the problem at the beginning. I chose to sell my house because I wanted to tap my equity and lay low to heel my credit rating. I paid off all of my credit cards and In late December of 07 I was attempting to get a business loan when my credit reports came in lower than they were before I sold my house. I asked my banker and he said my mortgage is was still current and was showing past due since Feb as the last day of reporting.
They have recently shown the mortgage as closed but not from the actual close date so my report is not show retro active. The written statement and apology letter about why they did not report the loan was a federal state disaster in April. However that does not connect to the company not reporting since Feb and not giving a closed date to the loan. I have all papers and documentation. I lost out on a 100k business loan because of this company
