Bank Card Empire They mislead me to believe there was a no risk money back guarantee and there wasnt

I signed up with this company 1& 1/2 weeks ago and have not heard anything nor have I recieved my training package. I called the 800 number on the website and did not get a person but a mailbox. They took me for $495 plus 19.95 for a monthly website membership to a bullshit website that is supposed to track my refferals. They told me I would get a back office website to manage everything. What is even more convincing to me that they are con artists is that, #1 there is no clickable link on their website for the email address which is not user friendly at All, you have to copy and paste to your email, #2 I cant get a person on the phone. #3 They say they have 24/7/365 support for the merchants but there is no phone number for support under the merchant link. And if you call the 800 number on the website after hours you get a recording. No one is there for support for the merchants as they claim! And no one has called me either.#4 they say they offer 2% processing fee and $. 25 transaction fee which is supposed to be a discount. I called a few other processing services and they were cheaper at 1.6% and $. 19. Some were even willing to negotiate.

I noticed on the bbb website that they have been in business since and they only have 10 employees. Either they are a legit business trying to use affiliates money to get their business up and running or they are a scam. I vote for the latter.

I plan on calling the attorney generals consumer fraud hotline office tommorrow. Then I am going to call my local news station's "call for action" investigative reporter. And I am trying to find a news station near the company in Tempe AZ. I have already contacted my credit card company and I dont know if that will do any good because I agreed to their non refundable terms which they didnt tell me about in detail until after they called me to confirm the transaction.

They tell you you have a 12 month money back guarantee misleading you to think it is risk free, they get your credit card info, then they tell you that you get your money back only if you have tried to get accounts and have advertised and failed. This is when they say the startup costs are non-refundable.

I fell for it hook line and sinker. But I am not out of the fight yet. You see I used to be a telemarketer. And I know the rules. They broke the rules by misleading me. Now I am going to break them. Everyone should file a complaint with the ftc at www.ftc. Gov. Check out the rules for telemarketing also. You will find them very interesting.
