I had an issue with PFA attempting to collect a 20 year old debt that incidentally was not mine. I was only 16 at the time the account was opened and it originated in a city far away. I know personally this was not my debt. I attempted to contact members of Management for PFA and got the run around. I tried to get in touch with Steven D. Fredrickson CEO, to no avail. I then tried William P. Brophey, no response.
Finally, I contacted Kevin P. Stevenson the CFO of Portfolio Recovery Associates he pawned me off to someone. Then I called Scott Tabakin, no response. I also tried to contact James M. Voss, again no response. Peter A. Cohen did not respond either. William P. Brophey was silent as well. It appears the Directors do not care about the unfair practices PFA uses.
I did eventually obtain resolution of my problem with PFA through a gentleman proclaiming to be William Odell. Time will tell the tale though. He was a bit harder to track down. I caught him at the office.
