My complaint is with the customer service I recently received at the wells fargo on 111 W. Ocean Blvd. Suite 100 Long beach, CA. I deposited a check for 9600 dollars at the Huntington beach wells fargo bank. They said there would be a hold and would call me when it was lifted. That's fine. The lady called when it was lifted and the funds were available. I must say that the Huntington beach, CA wells fargo has outstanding customer service and within the last 4 years that I've been with them I've NEVER ever had a problem with them. Anyhow, I moved about 30 miles away and now live in long beach on the ocean with a nice condo with a huge 4k monthly mortgage. Every single time I go into the Long beach wells fargo there's a problem. The personal banker I was unfortunate to meet with was megan m. Provost, and the very unprofessional, and extremely rude service manager valerie alcantar. So I went into the bank expecting to withdraw the available funds of 8500 dollars without any hassle. After all the funds were available online, I received a call from the bank saying the funds were available. So I try to make the withdraw. Here comes the interrogation. "Where did you deposit this", "when", "where", "give me the receipt when you deposited it (like most people keep those receipts. Actually I did keep it and showed it to her) "who called you".. Etc.."Well, I received a call from the banker in Huntington Beach saying the funds were available" "I checked my account online, its shows the funds are available".. I was told by valerie and megan that they were going to verify the funds that ARE ESSENTIALLY AVAILABLE. Mind you, this process was already done. I gave them the idea to call the bank in Huntington beach. And they agreed to do so. 45 minutes later after staring threw the glass at valerie and megan I asked them how much longer this would take. They said if you need help to get back in line. As if I had never been here. I called 411 and was able to talk to the bank service manager in Huntington beach. I think his name was chris. And told him the situation. He confirmed that the funds were available and didn't understand why they would not give us our money. Valerie alcantar the service manager never called or attempted any type of verification until 45 minutes of waiting... I asked if she even had the number to call the other bank. She said no, and I was told extremely rudely by megan. To get back in line because I cut in front of someone... The only way I was able to give the very rude service manager the phone number to call the Huntington beach bank was to cut in front of someone (something I didn't want to do but common who's going to stand in line over and over). A customer service rep. Could have come out and sat with me to help me instead of making me go back and forth in the bank line. (at this time the other customer service people rudely laughed at me). Valerie called the Huntington beach manager and started arguing with him. She told him to give her the information in which they (the people at the Huntington beach bank) verified the funds. 2 hours later she verified the funds. The funds that were already verified and gave me my already available. Already verified funds.
