After going back and forth, then came the bomb shell:
We have reviewed the agreement and everything is okay but we are having problem with the officials of the Reserve Bank on how the fund will be transferred to United States for the project.
The Reserve Bank said that wiring money from South Africa to United States is very difficult at this point in time there are lot of documents that must be obtained before the fund can be wired to United States because we have to comply with the provision of the South African patriot act of 2001 (the patriot act) including the title 3 of the international money laundering and abatement and anti-terrorist financing act of 2001. Without these documents it will be impossible for the fund to be wired to the account of the company in States and in obtaining all these documents it will cost us about USD 180,000 that is why we were advised to move the fund to Madrid Spain through diplomatic channel with the information of the mine owner or your information where the transaction will be faster and cheaper.
