These people write me/call me at home and my office. Concerning an account # xx14 for ms. Constance. I hold the Durabble Power of Attornry for miss Connie, who is 88 years old. Twice I have called as a curtesy to inform them that she is in a 24 hour supervised care nursing home, under medicare -medicade and has been for 4 years or better, with extreme dementia and alzhimers and knows know one but her son.
My complaint is that every time I have respond to their letters or calls to tell them this information and that there is no money available other than the $34 a month the government lets her keep for necessities.
They coerse me and tell me with a bad attitude and talk to me and threatning me into beleiving that as power of attorney I am responsible for the account, WHICH IS NOT WHAT A DURABLE POWER OF ATTORNEY DOES.
Today 3-24-08 was third time i told them this and the agent began arguing with me and hung up when i told her that as these letters and calls are comming to my house and my work office and if they did not stop i would consider it harrassment because i am not in anyway responsinle for this accountnor as the agents take a tone and try to lie to me and tell me i am. Miss connie was the only authorized user.
