Someone from National City in the drive thru lane cashed three checks that were dated for 3/3. Normaly this would be good except for the fact that the date the checks were cashed were 2/29. So far this company has cost me and my husband $180.00. If they do not fix the problem by 3/4 the total will go well over $300.00. This is money that we do not have.
We shouldn't have to pay for someone elses stupidity.
That's not the only problem with the company either. A previous time before this, we got threatened by one of the managers in the Kroger branch stating that if we did not stay with them that they would charge us a huge closing fee on our checking account. Plus they would not close the account in order to stop further daily fees from being addded.
Any time that you call their customer service number the employees are rude and do not want to help you. I personally feel they should have to refund the overdraft fees and give us money for all the aggravation and headache they have caused us.
Another time even before us getting threatened they caused an overdraft charge when I went to make a deposit. I handed the man a check and a deposit slip. He cashed the check but didn't deposit the money.
Needless to say my husband and I are fed up with this bank. They are staffed with rude and incompatent people.
