Ripoff false statements unwilling to help tricked and lied to us

I called to apply for one of their credit cards on the phone after I received the ad in the mail. The operator did inform me that I would be billed this unbelievable amount of money, which I said ok to, THEN I asked her, if this bill would/could be strectched out over several months. Meaning not one large charge at one time. Her response, YES SIR.

So I get the card in th email along with a letter telling me I will be billed $175 on my first bill. WHAT! I call their customer service number and all I get is sorry, the operator shouldn't have said that. I ask what can be done about it? Nothing. They admited to me the operator was wrong, gave wrong and misleading information yet they are willing to do nothing about it. I am now going on a campaign to make sure as many people know about their business' practices.
