Unsolicited credit card was sent to our home in the name of my daughter who just turned 18 and is collegeg freshman living at dorm here in MQT MI. I promptly tore it and application up and tossed. This was about a month ago. Today I receive a bill with not one but 2 processing fees. I promptly called their Customer Service number to cancel and was told daughter would have to call which we did.
I also sent bill back saying to cancel. My daughter did not even know about card so would have never signed up for it. I wonder how many young adults get scammed in this way. It makes me so angry. How can they send a bill when there was never a signed applicated to begin with. How did they get our home address and my daughters name. I definitely want to report this in the hopes it will help others.
