I have been trying to have my former wife removed from the title on my property as agreed upon in the divorce decree.in discussions with Chase Home Finance we determined that I would need a non-qualifying assumption. Cheryl Lash, Senior Assumptions Analyst gave me a list of required documents, which I submitted. Months later I received another list of needed documents, which I submitted. Then I received a qualifying assumption package! By mail. When I call the phone number provided it after waiting on hold for long periods I get connected to voicemail. They Never return the call. When I do get through their computers are down, the people I need to talk to are not at their desk, etc. I do not know if the title to the property will ever be properly transferred. Chase Home Finance has no office I can go to, to speak with a person, except maybe in Columbus OH. When I get my next home loan I will have inserted as part of the terms that the loan is NOT to be brokered to Chase Home Loans.
