Call this am from Mr. Bill Wms. Stated, you have a dental bill that is outstanding how do you intend to pay today? I asked what dentist, and may i see the services rendered. He started to rattle off (as if it were the 1st time he read the history). I indicated, I want the actual report for services. Gave him my fax. He said, he would call me back after he sent it, i stated, I would call him after i was done. He argued when, I said when i was done. Ended up hanging up on him as he started to argue about my credit, he would run my report and report nonpayment today.
Also stated, he deals with losers everyday, you never know who your getting on the other end of the phone. He judged me before we even spoke. He laughed when i stated I am not working effecitive previous day (first time in 35 years). He called me back three times before i could even read the darn bill.
I returned the call, asked if the services were adjusted for provisional bridge vs permanent since i had not received the permanent. Also asked why the insurance co was not billed for entire services. He had no clue. Said call them and ask them, i am not a dentist. I asked him if this was his account, he said, yes. I then stated, then call them and find out so you can answer my questions, so that we can clear the matter up. I am willing to pay only for services rendered. He had no clue on the facts.
He refused. Told me to call, I said i was not comfortable calling since they reported me to a credit co.
He then talked very condensating to me, and said I will close this matter today, and report it to your credit report for non-payment. I said, i did not say i would not pay, i need answers. He said call the dental office.
I asked for a supervisor he said he was the supervisor. I hung up called back asked for manager, she forwarded my call to him. He laughed and said, you wont get anyone but me.
I logged onto this website and was amazed. Scam? Oh my. I wonder if the dental co knows who they are relying on.
I called him back told him i would call someone to complain, he said, here is their number... Better business bureau and laughed. He then gave me his supervisors name and number, when i dialed the number it was the dental office manager.
He called back 20 minutes later, apologizing for being rude. Said i dont want to argue, how will you pay today. I told him i looked online for his company and was shocked at what i was reading and was afraid of them. I asked him not to contact me. I would pay the dental office directly moving forward. I will also send a letter to my credit co as a fraud alert so they do not inquire on my report as well as make a formal complaint to the state.
I am not a loser, or not willing to pay. I have a right to ask questions.
He is so innapropriate.
