This company is a joke and not only am I reporting here—I am contacting government officials to get something done. I had a fraudulent charge from a cable provider on my report that was managed by AFNI. I called charter and they said it had been turned over and I needed to contact the company. AFNI stated that I could settle with them—since I knew that it wasnt a verifiable charge. I agreed simply to remove it from my credit report and I contacted equifax. It was promptly removed from my report—only to have AFNI report it again the following month. I contact Jen in customer service who proceeded to reprimand me for settling with them for 20.00 less than the amount owed stating that I should have paid the entire amount.
Now keep in mind—the company offered me the settlement because I wanted to dispute the amount which they knew couldnt be verified. The employees are jokes with this organization and have no idea what they are doing. I have read so many negative reports regarding this company and I cant believe they are still in business.
