Live Well Financial
Loan Officer requires significant personal investment in Florida

Fortunately, I did some research and found that although recruiting for Loan Officers on Career Builders and also on my state employment website as an employee of the company, this position in Florida requires a significant investment. I am currently licensed in the state of Florida as a Funeral representative so I am familar with licensure requirements. Upon acceptance I was directed by Live Well Financials compliance officer to schools for licensure as I was led to believe a sales representative aka "Loan Officer". The schools cost that was closest to me was $239.00. I was led to believe that I could work off of Live Well Financials License when I originated loans. Further investigation showed that this is not true. I would have to pay $200 for licensure and go through the criminal background check which I already went through for my Funeral sales license. This is another $58 for fingerprinting etc.By my local Sherriff's department. Each year you are required to complete continuing education requirements. Another cost. I also learned that Live Well Financial charges $50 to use their program, you have to pay for all your own expenses including business supplies. They admit that we could probably get them cheaper on our own. This I found to be unusual as any company I have worked for in sales pays for all materials to generate business including advertising. I then looked for blogs and found that even after jumping through all these hoops, Live Well Financial did not pay the proposed amounts promised. If I run an ad and pay for it, I am required to put the companies address on it, not my own. So, if a person decides to go to the website and get information later, I not only paid for the ad, but would then have to pay for the lead which in fact my paid advertising had generated. This is not a very fair and equitable arrangement as far as I can see. The other company whose spokesperson is Robert Wagner pays a licensed mortgage sales representative $2500. Per loan. I think there are other opportunities out there and I feel if you are interested in this opportunity, you would be better off looking into this further.in plain english, you will pay ALL your own expenses, business supplies, advertising, lead generation and may pay a fee for use of Live Well financials company program to submit your loans (they sent me an email offering to waive this $50 monthly fee).in Florida you will need approximately $500 to pay for the state required school and licensure, you will probably not see revenue for 2 months due to the process involved in a loan, and if all the blogs are correct, you may not be paid the amount you understood you would receive from Live Well Financial. Think about this before you leap.
