My wife has applied for a chase credit card offering 0% APR for a year with credit line of, I think, $10,000. So we thought, it would be great to pay off our existing Auto loans which balance just over $15,000. Right after we received the card with balance of $10,000 right away we made called to Chase to increase the credit line up to $15,000. On the spot, the chase rep. Approved and increased the credit line to $15,000. Then we wrote a check that came with the card for lass then $15,000.
About two weeks later, check bounced for writing over the limit of credit line of $10,000. Then Chase charged us $39 and Honda Charge $20 for the mess. I called up Chase and ask them what happened and they reply that I have never asked for credit line increase. So, they told me that last phone called was just an explanation of terms and rates but never recorded that credit line been increase or even being asked. Then I asked them to remove the $39 and tried to increase the credit line and started again. She said okay to remove $39 and increased the line. Then I have waited this time to show up on the account on the web. Two days later credit line was increased but $39 still there.
So I waited until today and got $39 plus $15 Plus $1 for I don't know what for. I called chase again, talked to Rep. Named Dominic, she agreed to refund all the money that on the statement. So I asked her last name and ID number, then she would not give me any information about her ID number or last name. Then I was transferred to supervisor with only first name Erick. Then he said he could only refund $15 late fee and not $39, so the story was changed and I have been runaround again. Then we decided to cancel the card, he took all the information to cancelation process. But the account is still active as of this morning.
