Complaint / review text:
I have an hr block emerald card that I have been using for one year now. I received it last year when hr did my taxes. Since then I have had my employer deposit my paycheck to this card all year (i have a personalized card with my name on it) this year I did my taxes on turbo tax free file and opted to have the refund deposited to this same account that my paycheck has been deposited to all year. Before I did this transaction I called and asked the rep at hr if this was okay and she said yes. The irs has deposited the funds to thier bank and they have not deposited the funds to my emerald card account. The reps say they cant help me because they did not do my taxes.
Nobody seems to know where my refund is. I have been on hold so much that I dont know who else to call. They keep brushing me off because they did not do my taxes. The poin of the matter is my return was completed by the irs. I have spoken to them several times, verified the account number and routing numbers. One rep even told me that the irs has been lying to people about depositing the money into peoples accounts. I truly believe that my refund is lost in their system of they are holding the money. They should not be holding my refund because I dont owe them anything I filed for free. I dont understand how they had no problem receiving my paycheck and applying it to my emerald card but they cant seem to apply my refund to my emerald card. Iwantmymoneynow!
