Just got first call from TRS with what seems to be the usual scam language, owe on bad check to Amazon.com. Told them they should know better; company advises first, I refuse to pay or don't pay, then collection harassment starts. He, Frank Johnson, the genius that called, tried to go over my checking account number for accuracy, well, no I don't think I will give that out. I checked my accounts just to verify what I already knew, that I did not buy anything from Amazon during the time period he mentioned.
I spoke with Amazon, they confirmed that, checked bank records, etc. And of course nothing comes up. These dupes keep calling, I keep not answering, but did send in my letter to dispute; asked them to present their proof. I am anxious to see what they come up with.
In the meantime, I am contacting the Attorney General, anyone else I can think of and sending that letter to TRS along with the numerous other complaints I have seen on line. Will keep you advised. Any ideas.
