My father-in-law was contacted today by this agency 'UCB', by a miss named Susanne Walker, to locate me and my wife. She was rude to him, and left her number, stating that this was regarding a Citicard/Citibank bill, and that she had to be called back within an hour.
Indeed, the Citibank bill is overdue, but what can you expect when you are out of a job for 2 years. Upon calling the creditor I calmly explained (over and over again) what the situation has been, and that I am employed since the new year - allowing me to pay regular bills for everything. She didn't want to hear any of it, and told me that if I don't pay immediately, me and my family will be sent to prison.
She told me to take a loan with family, sell my car, or whatever - or I'd go to jail. Too bad she didn't include 'rob a bank or something'.
She was not willing to give me an e-mail address to reach her, and didn't want to give any further information about her company, which is what brought me here.
