Several days ago I paid my my bill online in the amount of $468.36. Orchard Bank is holding this payment from my available credit.in the two years since acquiring this card, I have never missed a payment nor been late on any payment.in fact this month alone I made payments to my account in the amount of $3181.34.
Their worthless customer service refuse to release the funds to my available credit even though the money was taken out of my checking account several days ago. They claim they can hold funds for up to 14 days until they clear. The funds have cleared my bank. Due to my excellent record of paying, there is no reason for them to hold this from my available credit.
I'm not sure what their reasoning is, but I doubt I will keep this card any longer.
Their customer service is terrible and could care less. One CSR told me today on the phone "What am I supposed to do about it". What a way to keep a customer.
Stay away from Orchard Bank and HSBC.
