I signed up for a pay day advance because Christmas is coming up and I was short money. I have no idea what website it was that I was on because I honestly went to like at least 20. I signed up for a bunch of Advances and I'm assuming that one of them must have been attached to this ID theft protection. I called the phone numer was on hold for just under and hour before I hung up. I went to their website and they had an option to "chat" online with a customer service represenative.
The person I talked to told me there was nothing he could do, all he could do was cancel my subscription and waive my early termination fees. I pleaded with "Sam" and told him I did not sign up for this and had no idea what this was for. He told me that I was bound by the terms and agreement I had agreeed to. And that the $31.98 that they took out of my account was a non-refundable charge. I don't understand how I can be held to the terms and agreements if I never agreed to anything?
Beware of the pay day advance websites you go to. And the ones you sign up for. I plan on calling my bank and hoping they can help me with this problem. Hopefully they can.
