For: $394.12 palisades has been harranging me for a debt that is not even mine! This is the letter I just sent them, certified-return requested
Dear Debt Collector AND/OR Debt Collector Attorney, Dispute Department. YOU have the wrong Paula J connected to this debt. This is but one of many correspondences I have sent, besides all the phone calls to you and yours.
I have NEVER had an AT&T wireless account EVER!
I have NEVER lived at the address that is connected to this dept. I have lived in Sandy, Oregon since 1997. I have repeated to you too many times. I can not believe you have ignored my pleas, phone calls, faxes, letters!
The last person whom I spoke with told me I would be removed as THE, now I receive another letter stating I requested Validation??? What is going on in your business?
This debt you claim is not me, I am I, my co workers, family and friends did a bit of investigating and there are MANY Paula J in this state. I have NEVER had an AT&T Wireless Phone thus yo have connected the WRONG ONE to your debt!!! I no longer know how to help you understand as I have made numerous phone calls, yes giving you the SS digits you requested for fast help, only to be put on hold for hours, and to no avail. I have always been polite and considerate of this error on your part. I have Faxed, sent letters and made numerous phone calls to you on several occasions to let you know that I am NOT the one you are looking for but you are apparently persistent and DONT CARE YOU HAVE THE WRONG PERSON, THAT IS BECOMING OBVIOUS! This is just crazy and I am at my wits end. I have spent Valuable Time writing letters, sitting on hold and faxing you!!!

I also explained that I called AT&T Wireless, and they tell me you have the wrong Paula J as well I am totally miffed that you dont remove me from your collection process!
You may send all the validation, debt, billing the fact is. IT IS NOT ME!
Debt Collector Attorney, Dispute Department and whom ever this may concern, This will serve as your legal notice under provisions of federal law, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), to cease all communication with me in regard to the debt referenced above.
If you fail to heed this notice, I will file a formal complaint against you with the Federal Trade Commission who is responsible for enforcement, the States Attorney General office and/or the American Collectors Association or local State Bar Association.
I/We have decided that we do not desire to work with a collection agency under any circumstances. I/We will contact the original creditor to resolve this matter directly, as circumstances warrant.
You are also notified that should any adverse information be placed against my/our credit reports as a result of this notice that appropriate actions will be taken. Give this very important matter the attention it deserves.
