Stole almost $2,000 from me. I want justice

(a.K. A) Ameritrustlending stole almost $2,000 from me. Craig Porter, from the company, called and sad that I was approved for a $5,000 loan but needed $960 for insurance purposes. I paid it. Then, I received a phone call from Stuart Hall. He said after a 2nd credit check, from the insurance company, they needed an extra $960 to cover the deposit. I paid it.

I was supposed to receive funds on 11-27-07. Stuart Hall called me that morning and said that the private lender had back out for some unknown reason. He said that he had another loan he could offer me but needed another $500 for a deposit. I told him I wanted my money back. He told me that my deposit would be returned to me on 11-29-07 by 5 P.M.

When I didn't receive any returned funds, all of my instincts telling me this was a scam came to reality. I tried calling Ameritrust on 11-30-07. I couldn't get through to anybody. I kept trying to call all day but, I had no luck. I tried logging on to their website but, the website was unavailable.

My wife and I are very kind and trustworthy people. I told Ameritrust that but, that didn't matter. They had no conscience.

I was trying to obtain this loan because I had filed bankruptcy in the past. This loan was supposed to help build my credit so I could be able to help secure my family's future.

I have a 2-year-old daughter. This would have been a great Christmas for her. But, the money I lost from Ameritrust, I just can't afford to give her what she deserves.
