Talk about taking advantage of your customers, I have never felt so helpless. Wells Fargo Bank will Rip you Off! I purchased a 1.00 bagel at McDonalds and was slapped in the face with a 34.00 fee. Not only that, but you would think that your card would be denied, NOPE. It was not until six transactions and a few days later when I saw that I was negative 360.00.340.00 was from overdraft fees. Did the bank stop? NO! Pre-authorized every month payments that were asked to be stopped were sent back and because Wells Fargo had to send them back... Guess what they charged me another whopping fee of... You guessed it $34.00!
When I spoke to a woman from the Bank in Tucson... I told her that those payments were to be stopped over two weeks ago... So she sent them back and told me I was going to be charged $34.00 for them O and that she did me a Favor! I mean Who does a favor by not paying the amount and throwing another fee on top of the ten that they already had on you? A FAVOR! I don't think so. I mean here I was calling to explain to her that there were payments made to my account that were supposed to be cancelled and her response was, "You need to stop using the account." OMG! I mean what did she actually think I was calling about? Duh that was what my intentions were when I decided to call!
Well to get to the end of my report... I was charged a total of $380.00 and none of my transactions were over $15.00... Five of them were under $6.00 and the other two were under $15.00. So for something that I would have only paid about $30.00 for I ended paying $380.00. Do Not Bank with Wells Fargo.
To make this story even more pathetic, I've banked with them for 7 years! I have had to get a secured credit card because they wouldn't approve me for a unsecured one and not only that, I have never been able to get any types of loans through them. I walked into azfcu and recieved a loan with them after only being a member for less than 2 months. Now tell me what type of customer appreciation is that?
