Providian
Letter Closing Account victimized many consumers

I also received the letter that says they are closing my account due to others that are delinquent over the past 6 months and they quoted Equifax. I pulled my equifax credit record and there is no such information and Providian is not even listed as pulling it.in addition they charged an annual fee 2 days before sending the letter.

My account has had a 0 balance for a year and a half and so has all of my other accounts. How would you call someone without debt and a pefect credit record for 5 years a delinquent credit user. I contacted customer service like they told me to and customer service says that they have no information. No one has information to give me other than what the letter states. If this is an individual thing that why is there a hotline established for just this?
