Our account (Citibank) was turned over to Capital management Services... We learned this not because they called us but because they called our Kids and harrassed them. When I called the company, I was greeted by the rudest, most arrogant man I've ever talked to.
He threatened me, my job, my family... He was very demeaning. You know the classics: "You don't have a choice pal", or, "we make the rules now buddy", or, "I'm your worst nightmare... I'll ruin you and your family if you don't pay up"
All I can figure is that he was compensating for some lack of physical prowess. I've learned that there are many complaints about this company filed with the better business bureau and others. The CEO, Jeff Hauser brags in the press about being egotistical... How far will people stoop for a buck?
One thing is for sure, I've spent three years trying to resolve this debt... The next three years will be spent outting the punks that call and try to intimidate people.
