LVNV Funding - Resurgent Capital
They ruined my credit history by including a collection account they bought from MCI which I never had any account with

I checked my credit report recently and was surprised to find a collection item on it. It said I owe $120 to LVNV funding LLC and the original creditor was MCI.

I never in my life had any services from MCI. I started a dispute through the credit report agency and they said their investigation will take about 30 days.

Should I wait for the results of the investigation? What are the chances they will find the truth and delete the account from the credit report?

Can LVNV show some fabricated proof? What should I do if the credit reporting agency does not remove the item after the investigation?

How should I prove that i never had any account with MCI?

I would really appreciate if someone can help.
