Credit Monitoring TrueCredit is not so true after all. Truecredit.com USA Internet

I have been a paying member of True Credit (Owned and operated by Trans Union) for well over a year. As part of their service, customers are alerted to changes in their credit reports. Score changes, inquiries, etc. I had made a call to them because the information being sent to me was incorrect. I was told by a Customer service rep that they were having problems with the website and I would be receiving a credit for one months' service. Not only have I not received the credit. 3-4 days later my account was closed. I received an email from them as follows:

Dear XXXXX,

We're sorry that you've decided to cancel your Credit Monitoring subscription, and we'd like to understand how we can help you with your credit management needs. Please let us know why you decided to cancel your service by filling out our quick survey.

Please note that your credit report is no longer being monitored for changes. Credit Monitoring is one of the most effective ways to identify potential fraud and guard against identity theft. Should you decide that you'd like to resume your subscription, please give us a call and we'd be happy to help.

They said I cancelled the account, which I never did. I then called them back to explain that I had NOT cancelled and was told that they shut it off because there was unusual activity on my account but wouldn't say what it was. I was told I would be re-instated within 3-5 days and receive an email when it was back on again. Today I got this email from them:

You recently contacted our Customer Service department in regard to our notification that your TrueCredit membership and billing was being frozen due to excessive access to your account. As our customer service team communicated, our Compliance Department has reviewed your account in order to see if you qualified for reinstatement.

After a thorough investigation, it is our conclusion that your account should not be reinstated due to an access pattern which indicates potential fraud or a deliberate intent to tamper with the credit scoring system. Your access, billing and all account related email alerts have now permanently been terminated as a result.

While we regret any inconvenience this may cause you, it is our policy to protect the security and integrity of the credit reporting system.

I have been accused of (in their words) potential fraud or a deliberate intent to tamper with the credit scoring system.

I find this outrageous and insulting. Seems to me if I have committed fraud to mess with the credit system the FBI or someone would be knocking down my door. I think it's because I complained that their product was not accurate and wanted answers.

I'm wondering if anyone else has had issues with this outfit?

They claim to supply all three credit scores from Trans Union, Equifax, and Experian. However after joining Equifax credit monitoring I noticed that the scores differed. I called TruCredit and their explanation is that they use TrueCredit formula for giving me an Equifax and Experian score... Seems to me they are committting fraud by saying and charging that I get scores from the other two when in fact I am not.

If there are any laywers that want a piece of this action, I'd love to hear from you. It's corporate crap like this that is destroying our country.
