I recieved a letter in the mail on yesterday detailing that I could get a "Platinum Card" for $5,000.00 with no interest for a year if I mailed them a mere payment of $45.00. I thought that that was unusual b/c I hadn't applied for their card and they said that they already had one awaiting me as soon as I sent them the money. I did an online search for the company because there was no phone number, website or e-mail address for me to contact. This site, usacomplaints.com popped up. I am so glad that I was a good consumer and did a search on the company before I invested $45.00 in the card. I am a law student and I would have made a personal effort to sue the pants off this company had they ripped me off!
If you are reading this report take action on this company. There are things that you can do. 1) Call the better business bureau (They might already have a case against this company). 2) If so, report them to the authorities. 3) Be a good consumer and check and recheck companies when they ask you to send them money and they'll send you something, especially when you did not request what they are offering (that's fishy and it stinks). So check things out before you put your John Hancock on them and send them money.
Yours truely,
A consumer well thought!
