I am so glad I found this site. I got an approval certificate in the mail from capitol choice consumer credit. It said that I also was preapproved for a platinum credit card but did not say which one. I thought that was very strange. Then I read that it was a non-bank affiliation. Another red flag. Given my credit history, I thought it very unusual I would qualify for a platinum card of any kind, especially with a $5,000 limit with only 6% interest. It's one of those things, if it sounds too good to be true it probably is. I had to look it up online to see what I could find out. I'm glad I did. This is a definite fraud. If you get one, trash it!
