I wrote a check for $85, and realized after a gasoline transaction that I would overdraw my account and that the check would not clear. I called the agency to advise them that it would not clear and made arrangements to pay it. I follwed the transaction history daily, and it showed the little $4-$10 transactions coming out of my account, but when the check arrived, they moved the processing of it FIRST, and then gave me 13 over draft fees instead of one.
Their excuse was that they processed the check first because larger amounts are usually more important. They've since reversed 7 of the 13, but I am still fighting for them to reverse all but one. I'm considering a class action lawsuit, and I've told them this already. It's only a matter of time.
