If this will help. I actually work for a collection agency. Basically the best advise I can give you is to keep everything. If you can provide proof to them that this debt is cleared that is what you need to do. You will want to send it certifed mail. So get bank statements or anything from the company showing proof you paid. When you pay something, keep all documents. Dont ever through it away. You have to understand that ampd still owns this account, they just retain them to work the account. So if pinnacle is still calling you that is because ampd didnt let them know. Since ampd pays pinnacle, and ampd doesnt tell them that it is paid then guess what, pinnacle still thinks it is owed. So if you have proof that you paid send it to them
