Lady called me claiming to be from American Standard Financial stating that I had qualified for a grant in the amount of $4500.00. I told her I had not filled out any paperwork for a Grant with their co. She stated that I had qualified and could do anything with the money but I would have to pay a one time processing fee for paperwork of $395.00 and started asking me to verify personal info. I told her I was not comfortable with that and asked how she got my name. She stated she got it from the governmemnt. I told her I never heard of amyone paying money to receive a grant and ended the call. I saved the number and decided to research the company. Glad I did.
