While performing my annual credit report check. I discovered a "collection account" from Palisades Collection LLC for $981.00. It states the original creditor as a company/bank I have never heard of nor have had any accounts with. While investigating I came across this web-site and read a few of the horror stories. Looks like I'll be going to the Attorney General as well. I can't believe that the major credit reporting agencies report anything from these "phantom" collection agencies. We have got to put a stop to this!!!
