I had applied for a credit card from HSBC online and I received it within a weeks time.
After receiving the credit card, I started getting calls from HSBC Telemarketers. I told them I do not want any protection services from the very first call. After that I received a total of 6 calls in the following week.
I finally had to explain to them why I do not need that service. After that they never called.
Why do we have to explain our personal business to some stranger from the telemarketers. Where is my right to deny a service they were offering?
I understand how telemarketers business operate, I still think HSBC is responsible and should manage their operation better.
Anyhow, I cancelled my credit card and also my other credit cards (Orchard bank) afilitated with HSBC. When HSBC took over Orchard Bank, I used to pay through online. They messed it up for three months and they had no record of my payments. Anyhow that's another story.
All I want to say now is, HSBC get your act together.
