I was trying to get a Government Grant to start a small business. I was promised, at least $5000.00 or my $299.00 back. I was contacted by phone on 7/16/07. The lady pressured me into giving her a lot of personal information and my bank account number and routing number. She was very friendly. She told me that I would get an application packet in the mail. It is now 8/14/07 and I have not received anything in the mail. The phone number she gave me is only an answering machine. My account was debited for $299.00, with no response.
How could someone ripoff a United States Military Veteran with a clear conscience?
She made me believe that I was guaranteed tax free money!!
