I have also reported a company called Great Lake Financial on this site that has caused this problem with Drive Financial. I am behind on my payments. I advised "Sonny" a customer service rep for Drive that I was scammed, told him the name of the company and what happened. He told me he was going to defer my payments for two months. I called today after receiving this very nice letter telling me they would work with me to get my account back on track.
When I called I was put through to a supervisor named "Janet" who proceeded to tell me how I could not manage my money and that was why I was falling behind in my payments. That there is only black and white in a situation like this. That my deferral was not put through. I needed to get cash into their office. I told her I sent a post office money order and she told me that was not an acceptable form of credit. She told me I need to borrow money and send my payments Western Union. I became so upset I told her I would do that and hung up.
If there are so many complaints with these people who are they allowed to be in business. They are terrible. Had I know this I never would have gotten my car from them.
