I received a letter in the mail advocating that I am "Guaranteed Approval" for a Peoples Credit First Platinum Card with a credit limit of $5,000.00. I decided to check on the net and with the Better Business Bureau first, as I noticed there was no information detailing any terms, no phone number, only a PO Box number, which is different on the return envelope (PO Box 15650 Tampa, FL 33684-5650) from that which is in the "acceptance certificate" (PO Box 320366, Tampa, FL 33679-2366).
I would strongly urge anyone who receives this to immediately report it to the Better Business Bureau so that these people can be brought to justice. And to those who have sent these people their hard earned money to file a claim in small claims court or to ban together and sue them in civil court.
After what our country has been through, we do not need this. Our economy needs healing and all are feeling the pinch of a tightened budget.
