We are victims of this company for a year my old mortgage sold my loan to them. We knew our loan was an arm for 2 yrs fixed, no refinancing or selling otherwise we will have to pay them 6 months worth of payments. We knew was going to become variable by the end of march, but we didn't know how bad was going to be (1 point) didn't seem so bad. First they stated we carried so many late charges from my old mortgage, that we don't recall, about 4 or 5 months after we start with them. We received a letter stating there was an shortage on escrow like about $278.00 and if they don't receive the shortage my monthly payment was going to increase like $60.00 more. So we did pay by phone the amount they request from us, we ask so many times the attendant if she was going to send it to the escrow department and she said don't worry that she will do it right away, apparently they never received the shortgage and they raise our monthly payment.
We had copies from our bank that they cash the check i tried for long 5 weeks to resolve the problem, they were rude and with no knowlege at all. We got used to the new montly payment, after that they send a billing statement where it said I have late charges in the amount of $575.00 why we don't know. Everything still ok struggling with them. Everytime I pay by phone they charge me $9.50 dlls. My loan is an interest loan only, at the end of March I received my big present they raise our payment almost $800.00 a month, it become variable from 8.2 we went to 11.13 interest rate. What is their base they don't know, do they have a interest table for every person? They never knew, they never knew anything We did our first variable payment of $3117.00 it was a really hardship for our family and my other creditors, I didn't have enough founds on my second payment we could'nt afford it, we called them and let them know about our situation, and all they told me was to send dome documents about our income and they can help me out with a modification of the payment, it was all.
The month finished i never heard from them, I called them again and explain them my situation again and nothing happened, I keep calling them, they never return my calls, all I got was voice mails, I let them know that if they didn't help me out they were going to have to foreclosure on me. I guess they didn't care. I put my house for sale I guess I was lucky I got an offer, I let them know that my house was on escrow, that I need it a pay off, escrow called them and they gave us a pay off notice for only one day, they said that is the law here in California only one day. I been struggling with them for 2 weeks already, they said it was my state that only allowes 24 hrs pay off I insist they hung up on me and we keep trying until now had passed 2 weeks and escrow is ready to close without a certain pay off because the 24 hrs regulation in california i need somebody to help me out with this. Now my original balance raise $14.000.00 dlls more we can understand they want to charge the mortgage payment for Tacustomers testimonials helping hungry people and charities I don't think so, they are cruel, greedy, and no feelings at all, hopefully somebody will read my sad story and be interested to tell me if we have a case like the other people testimonials please help us.
