I am horrified to see that Ocwen Loan Servicing treats not only myself very poorly but apparently all of there customers very poorly and to know they are getting away with it. I have read some of the reports on this site about Ocwen and they sound exactly the same as what happened to me. They charge bogus fees for checking credit or some other bogus reasons. I refinanced a property I own through a mortgage broker and unfortunately my loan was sold to Ocwen. I had become three months behind on mhy mortgage and made payment arangements with someone in their Loss mitigation department, who I could not understand because anytime you call them they are in India. I was making the required payments when they decided to foreclose anyway. Forunately I brought the payments current at the same time they were going to start foreclosure. Now they are reporting on my credit report as if they foreclosed and can not get the problem recitfied because they don, t care about anyone but their greedy selves. I called and talked to a so called supervisor (in India) and received only rude treatment. My loan payment was originally $625 per month and is now $1125 per month. Some of the increase is due to adjustments in the interest rate but most of it is due to bogus fees. They say they escrow advances in which I am paying for in my payment. This should have brought everything current and now they are saying my escrow has a negative balance once again. How can someone be paying the current escrow plus the arearage and they say I'm still not paying enough. Anytime you call them you can nopt get a straight answer. They are ripping us all off.
