Mortgage pd in full

I had a equity loan on my house. I sold my house in march.
It closed 4.3.07
i discovered today that my loan was "never" released by us bank.
I need help locating someone who can see to it that this bank releases this lien.
It's on my hud 1 that it's paid in full, but the bank won't file a release.
Help!
