I have been fighting WFHM for about two years. I was forced into bankruptcy because of a Open Heart Surgery 3 years ago. Over a period of time I got behind.
From that time on I have received two letters from their attorneys threatening to foreclose because I was late. This is how they operate:
1. They apply your payment when they want to.
2. They disregard you having a receipt which states: Payments may take 1 to 3 business days to post but will be credited to your account as of the Credited Date on your receipt. Please retain receipt as verification.
3. They wait a year and then say you were late and did not pay the late fee...
4. They have their attorney contact you and add Notice Fees to amounts you do not owe.
5. We you ask for an ledger sheet of your account, it does not make sense with the documentation that you have!
6. Remember they can take your home... It's cheaper to pay extortion money
7. When you settle, 6 months later they come back and say you did not pay non existent late fees one year ago after you settled above...
8. They are like the insurance industry. They think" It's easier dealing with 50 monkeys (STATES) than on Gorilla (US GOVERNMENT)
9. We will keep on doing what we are doing and settle right before court dates. Then let some other dummy sue us and here we go again!!!
Lets start a Federal Class Action Suit. Just put an Ad that says " Had any problems with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage." You will have the clients in 2 days and be a Millionaire many time over!!!
