On June 19th I received a call from a man with a heavy accent, he said he was from United Processing Inc. And this was regarding a legal issue.
He said he was calling about a legal and criminal case regarding a payday loan. I told him I had no idea what he was talking about and asked to please not call me at my place of employment. I hung up the phone.
A few minutes later he called my boss and said I had committed fraud and that he was going to send my boss a letter detailing everything.
His acusations are completely false and I told him that.
He threatened me, tried to extort money from me and my understanding is that is defamation of character by calling my boss. I filed a complaint with the Florida Attorney Generals office. I recommend anyone who has received a call like this should do the same.
