Will not work with CCCS and keeps harassing

My husband has a loan with cash call, but because of my husband loosing his job we fell behind our payments with them. We initially had the automatic withdrawal from our checking account but since we didn't have the money anymore we canceled it and agreed to send the payment monthly. Since we couldn't send the payment by the 1st when it was due they started calling his cell phone and house phone at least 10 times at day, he would talk to them and explain our situation over and over again, but they are very rude and uncaring. We explained that we were in the process of loosing our home and that our priorities were to find a place and provide food for our two little girls, but they will not deferred the payment or work with us in any way. After several threats of taking legal action against him if he didn't pay we decided to go through a Consumer Credit Counseling Agency to try to pay off our debt.

At the time we enrolled in the program on May 20th we were only 20 days past due and we figured that the agency would work with them just like any other creditor, but the phone calls continued. I spoke to the Credit Counselor and told her what was going on so she said that they had already sent a payment. After coming home from work yesterday we got a very nasty message from a guy calling himself Mr. King, he was yelling on the phone as if he was actually talking to a person, so my husband called the Credit Counselor and she said she would call them. About 20 minutes later we got a call from Mr. King again so my husband spoke to him and was told that they do not work with third parties, but that they will take the money from anyone on his behalf. He told my husband that since CCCS had only made a partial payment we still owed $132 out of the $250 that was due for the month of May and that if he didn't pay legal action would be taken. They will not reduce the interest rate or work with the agency at all, which makes it really hard for anyone to pay them off. Plus since the interest rate is so high that after a year our balance is higher than the initial amount we borrowed, they just keep adding late fees and interest to the loan balance since the payment is late every month and we just cannot afford to make the extra payment to bring it to current.

If anyone is pursuing a lawsuit we would definitely like to join. They are the most vicious, rude and uncaring people I have ever dealt with.
