My husband and I were looking up some loan companies online to get personal loan to pay off some bills. I found the website for centerline financial and thought why not lets apply and lets see what kind of interst rate they could do...
A couple days later a lady by the name of Lisa Miller contacted me and told me we have been approved for the amount we asked for. So I asked her to fax me the information and we would get back with her.
The next I contacted her and told her we wanted to do whatever we had to do to recieve the money. So she told to secure the loan the investment company required the first 6 months payments up front, so it added up to 1,275 dollars.
My husaband and I got the money together and went to our local Walmart and did a money gram transfer to a lady named Sarah Kellar in Wentward, Alberta, Canada. We called Lisa back with the refrence number and she told us our money would be in our account no later than 24 hours from then.
Well, the next day no money so I called her back and she transferred me to a guy named Ben Shifler who was head of customer service and my account rep now. Ben told me that the company required an additional 1000 because the insurance for the amount would cost more then 1275- so we got the money together and did another moneygram to the same lady in Canada.
I called Ben back with the ref number and he advised me that it would be there the next day. No money the next day - I called him and he told me that the automatic tranfer machine was down and they would have to overnight me a check for the loan and guranteed me it would be here.
Still no check that was Saturday June 9. So I Saturday afternoon I called a friend and she said she would look it up and see what she could find out we have have never heard of usacomplaints.com - so we found it and guess what we found...
On Monday June 11th, I got on the ball and strated makinf some calls. I called the St. Louis PD and spoke with a detective in the fraud unit and he advsided they went to the address and of course it was a bogus one - no such company in that building. I called the Better Business Bureau, i also called the real Centerline Investment company that is located in St. Louis and they had no idea this was going on.
Monday afternoon the detective called me back and advised there was nothing they could do because they couldn't find them. So i called the FBI and the told me to put in a complaint on the internet at www.ic3. Gov.
I did that and have not heard anything yet, but today I plan on calling the FBI headquarters in Washington D.C.
I also looked up where the number is from and the lady advised the 866-840-3109 number is a Canadian Telephone # and the fax number is with Southwestern Bell.
So my next action I am calling the FBI and then I will try to get in touch with some law enforcement in Canada.
There has to be a way we can catch these people and I plan on doing everything I can to do it.
Please contact me if this company has done this to you and let's all complain the FBI and catch these crooks.
Dont quit calling Lisa or Ben (I know thats not even there real names) or anyone else that has contacted you. I have been calling them everyday since and more than 6 times a day and I just keep on bugging them about my money -
I don't know how these people sleep at night doing what they do, but I do know they will ROT IN HELL!!
